Set up in 4 steps
In short: To connect Jainam to ChatGPT or Claude, add Jainam XTS trading and market-data API keys to Quantplay, add your Quantplay IP in your Jainam API settings (not needed for Jainam dealer accounts), then add https://mcp.quantplay.tech/mcp as a custom connector in ChatGPT or Claude and sign in to Quantplay. For read-only access, use https://mcp.quantplay.tech/mcp/readonly instead.

Get your Jainam API details
Create the details listed above in your Jainam account's API settings.

Add Jainam to Quantplay
Create a free Quantplay account, click Add account, choose Jainam and enter those details.

Add your Quantplay IP to Jainam
Quantplay gives your account its own fixed IP. Add it as the allowed IP in your Jainam API settings, since brokers reject API orders from other IPs. Not needed for Jainam dealer accounts, which route orders through Jainam's own network.

Connect Claude or ChatGPT
Paste the URL below into your AI app as a custom connector (in Claude: Settings → Connectors; in ChatGPT: Settings → Apps → Developer mode). Sign in to Quantplay and choose whether the agent may place orders.

Questions
Can Claude or ChatGPT trade on my Jainam account?
Yes, through Quantplay. Your agent can read positions, holdings, orders, margins and option chains, and place, cancel or square off orders if you allow trading when you connect it. Placing orders and setting limits need a paid plan; the 7-day free trial includes them.
Can I connect without letting the agent trade?
Yes. Leave trading off when you approve the connection, or use the read-only URL https://mcp.quantplay.tech/mcp/readonly, which can't place orders at all.
What limits an agent's losses on my Jainam account?
Stoploss, target and trailing stoploss are set per account and run on Quantplay's servers. When one is hit, Quantplay squares off all open positions on that account, whether you or the agent placed them. They exit after a limit is crossed; they don't block orders. Your kill switch is the floor: no agent can change it, and no one can change it during market hours.

Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Muse, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and any app that supports remote MCP servers, the standard AI apps use to connect to outside tools.
