MTM stop loss for your whole account
Set the most you're willing to lose in a day. When your account's MTM reaches it, Quantplay exits your intraday and F&O positions within seconds, on Zerodha, Angel One and 8 more brokers.
What an MTM stop loss does
A normal stoploss protects one order. An MTM stop loss protects the account: it watches the day's mark-to-market P&L across all your open intraday and F&O positions, and exits them together when the total loss reaches your limit.
It matters most on the days that go wrong. One bad session can take weeks of gains, and a limit set in the morning decides how much it can take before you're out.
Does Zerodha have an MTM stop loss?
Not on Kite as of 30 October 2026. Kite has per-order stoplosses, GTT orders and a kill switch that disables a segment, but nothing that exits every position when your total P&L reaches a limit. Traders have asked for it on TradingQnA. Quantplay adds it on top of your Zerodha account through Kite Connect, Zerodha's official API.
Set an MTM stop loss in three steps
- 1
Connect your broker
Create a Quantplay account and add your Zerodha, Angel One or other broker account with its API details.
- 2
Set the stoploss and target
Open the account's risk settings and enter the maximum loss for the day, for example −10,000, and a target if you want one.
- 3
Let it run
Quantplay checks the account's intraday and F&O P&L every few seconds and exits those positions once a limit is crossed.
With Claude or ChatGPT connected, you can also just ask: “Set a ₹10,000 stoploss on my Zerodha account.”
